Location : North America Opponents : British vs Colonials Description : A set of modifications for the HPS game "Campaign 1776". These files when unzipped will allow the players to perform the movement and combat of the 18th century with a little more accuracy than depicted in the original game. The main modification is the stacking limit which has been reduced in order to make the game 'more linear'. Presently players tend to stack their units to a large degree because the game system allows them to do so. The result is a battle that has nothing to do with the linear tactics of the period. I have included scenarios that have been modified using the new system because with these particular mods the original scenarios that come with the game cannot be played. These are designed primarily for email play and are recommended for the enthusiast of the period. If you are quite happy with the original game then these modifications are not for you. |
