The multiplayer FPS' expansion has gone gold.
The expansion pack for this summer's Joint Operations (review), Escalation, has been declared gold by developer and publisher NovaLogic. The expansion pack moves the large-scale multiplayer FPS from a local conflict in Indonesia to a regional conflict involving dozens of countries in Southeast Asia. Set against modern times, players can pilot attack choppers, tanks, and other land vehicles in an effort to overwhelm their opponents. In addition to the new locale (25 new maps) and vehicles (including a dirt bike), Escalation also includes stronger body armor, clustered control points, and new training and cooperative multiplayer missions.
Joint Operations: Escalation is now in production and should hit store shelves on November 17th.
