Futuristic sci-fi shooter is on its way to retail stores.
The futuristic FPS Bet on Soldier (E3 2005 preview) has gone gold, Digital Jesters announced on Tuesday. The final version of the game has been sent off for reproduction and should be in stores across Europe and the US by the end of September. Bet on Soldier is set in a ruthless time of war and corporate greed: TV audiences bet on life-or-death matches between supersoldiers on the battlefield. The single player campaign consists of a storyline about a soldier who fights the system in a quest to ultimately destroy it, while the multiplayer modes feature innovative head-to-head combat based on the betting principle of the single player game.
