5 screens from this police FPS/sim.
Vivendi Universal released last week a set of five new screenshots from SWAT 4: The Stetchkov Syndicate, the expansion pack to last year's police FPS/simulation. Stetchkov was recently completed by Irrational Games and will be in stores later this month, priced at $20. The game adds a number of new features to the original game, which was recognized by critics and fans alike for its robust AI, detailed and memorable environments, and simulation-like quality of play. In the SWAT 4 series, players must operate as a law-enforcing SWAT police unit, curbing criminal behavior not with a blind "shoot first, ask questions later" mentality, but instead one that emphasizes life-saving operations. That modus operandi will become more difficult in the expansion; an Eastern European criminal group has taken over a major American city, overwhelming it with illegal gun running and drug activity. The addition of new weapons, equipment, and multiplayer features round out this expansion.
