Empire Earth 2: The Art of Supremacy has gone gold, Vivendi Universal games announced on Monday. The completed 3D RTS is the expansion pack to last year's Empire Earth 2 (preview) and covers several epochs of civilization, focusing in on a four new ones: the French, the Russians, and the Zulu and Maasai of the all-new African region. Other new features include multiple new gameplay modes (such as "Tug-of-War"), nine new maps, special historical scenarios known as "Turning Points" (Rorke's drift and the battle of Kursk), new battles systems and units, as well as various technological improvements (advanced lighting effects, new animations, and voice-over-IP communication).
